This is the TSDS UFx board. One of the first things I did was to silicone coat unused metal connectors on both ends. I also attached a mounting platform for my other board on the one end.
This platform will serve as a mount for the VoodooFx "Flicker Board" that controls the engine detail.
The board has been securely mounted with black silicone adhesive, making a nice clean package.
Overall view of where these control boards will mount. All of the LED cans for fiber optics will mount on the other side of the lower hull.
Tight quarters
This is the female port where the 5 volt power source will connect, and a small toggle switch to turn it on/off with. This is tucked neatly on the right underside of the lower hull behind the fin.
This shows how I have fit the display stand. I drilled small holes in the lower hull for the brass pins to attach to. Those pins are securely mounted in the top of the lucite support rods on the base, which also have some felt discs in between so as not to scratch the paint.
Back side of the dash board. Smalll aluminum cans will house LED's as well as the small backing plate on the view screen.
I am modifying some surplus laser rifles from the LIS Chariot as Laser/Spear rifles. They will hold two extra spears on the sides and one in the pipe! These will be mounted in weapons closet.
